Sour cherry blond ale. profile = tart & funky & fruity & vinous / ibus 6 / temp 48 f / tulip 13oz. a tart, refreshing blond ale aged 8 weeks on 200 pounds of locally-grown sour cherries; sourced from our friends at toigo orchards (lancaster, pa), we selected these fresh cherries at the del ray farmers’ market (alexandria, va) in early july, added them immediately to the brew, then finished this session sour with brettanomyces & a touch of sea salt..
