Nearly 40 pounds of fresh cherries & 5 pounds of ecuadorian dark chocolate gives this wheat bock its rich flavor. The use of 50% wheat malt provides a smooth beer allowing the malt to come through w/ chocolate notes w/ just enough hops to balance. The cherries are not an upfront flavor but a background note w/ a slight tartness & become more evident as the beer warms. A nice beer to welcome in fall, not too heavy, not too light w/ some nice complex flavors & an aroma of chocolate.
