Oktoberfest began in 1810 as a celebration of the crown prince ludwig i & princess therese. Though the first celebration was believed to be a somewhat sober affair, over the course of 200 years it has become one of the biggest worldwide celebrations. As is true w/ most german holidays, a special beer was eventually incorporated into the festival. Our oktoberfest is reminiscent of the original, a malty lager balanced w/ german hops & a well hidden kick of alcohol from its 6 weeks of cold aging! Prost!
